No not LITERALLY but in the sence. So, today is July 4th. Most normal kids would be out having a blast with fireworks or hanging out with friends. If you haven't noticed I'll let you in on a little secret. Most wouldn't describe me as normal. I'm sitting here, on the computer, with my boss in my livingroom playing XBox with my older brother. My mom is on the slot machine and dad is on his computer. Who knows what my bff is doing, I should call her.

It's about midway through summer and I've gone to San Antonio for a week and worked my butt off for about half of the break so far. Not exactly what I would call and exciting summer. Don't get me wrong, that one week vacation was awesome. One of the best I've ever had, but I would imagine more activity than this. Shot, just getting out to the park to play tennis would be nice. Heck, besides going to specifically Hot Topic once I haven't been to our mall here. I have resorted to volunteering in the library, helping some people pack, renevating a house (which I still have a week and a half of), cleaning, and reading to keep myself from going nuts. Not that it was too much help.

It's been raining like, none-stop so its hard to go to the pool and going fishing is now out of the question. Our water levels are up 25 foot at our last check. Who knows what it's up now with the rain in the last 3 days. I don't know what I can do now. I've tried just about everything to not further my insanity. Getting online doesn't seem to help anymore. Anyone and everyone I usually talk to seem to be on vacation of some sort so I sit here staring at the screen and hopeing something will fly out at me.
Like I said, I think I'm going crazy.

Hey Calfmama,

Sounds like you are in a real major funk..been there myself once or twice. Not so much fun.

Sounds like you have tried pretty much everything to keep busy...guess the old lemonade stand is out of the question, huh?!

SOunds a little like you the "its greener on the other side" blahs...You need to spice it up a bit. Need to try something new to get out of the funk...

Ya... Wasn't really in the best mood when I wrote that. I had a headache and was tired. But doing all this stuff has kept me from complaining I'm bored and there is money involved with the cleaning and renovating and whatnot. But all is well now.
